Invisible Man Disappearing
The Sci-Fi Channel, a couple of years ago, created a tv show called The Invisible Man. The premise of the show had this petty thief taken by the government and implanted with an invisibility gland, the quicksilver gland. The gland was designed by the thief's brother who was later murdered by a criminal mastermind. So now you have this agent that can turn invisible and the rest of the series told the tales of him and his assignments. Along the way we learned about where the gland originated from (bigfoot), who killed his brother, and other "freaks" designed by other governments. The invisible man, Darian, cannot stay invisible forever because if he does he goes insane. Because of this he has to have a shot every now and again. His partner, Bobby, and Darien trade verbal jabs back and forth throughout each episode which gives the show its unique charm. Most of these war of words are ad-lib and make for usually the most humorous situations during the show. The show also stars that guy that played Clark's father on Lois and Clark, he plays the agency's boss. Unfortunately the show is being canceled in a few weeks. So if you have a chance give it a shot before it disappears into tv history.
